Performance Analysis of a Piezoelectric Bimorph Cantilevered and Electromagnetic Hybrid Energy Harvester

Abstract


  • A piezoelectric-electromagnetic hybrid vibrational energy harvester adopted Euler-Bernoulli mathematical model as an accurate method to investigate parameters tuning effect in the output result. This paper compares the result from single vibrational electromagnetic and piezoelectric energy harvester with the energy scavenging from the hybrid system while the two layers piezoelectric with mode d31 and the magnet considered as a tip inertia.
