Analysis of {411} <148> recrystallisation texture in twin-roll strip casting of 4.5 wt% Si non-oriented electrical steel

Abstract


  • The evolution of {411}<148> texture in a promising twin-roll strip casting of 4.5 wt% Si electrical steel was skillfully investigated. The results show that the selective growth mechanism, caused by orientation pinning, is responsible for the formation of the sharp {411}<148> component which is beyond the preferred nucleus spectrum.
