Abstract


  • With the explosion of the Internet, a secure and practical payment system becomes an essential tool for establishing a successful e-commerce system. Existing e-cash systems are neither efficient nor practical. This project aims to develop unified models, theories and techniques for construction and evaluation of secure anonymous e-payment systems. In particular, we aim to construct two important notions, namely refundable e-payment and anonymous rechargeable e-wallet systems, which are provably secure. Achieving secure and practical payment systems will be a significant advancement of the existing technology for building trust in e-commerce by providing security for sensitive data and information.
