The Centre for Medical Radiation Physics (CMRP) in collaboration with the Australian Nuclear Science and Technology Organisation (ANSTO) is undertaking an ARC Discovery Project (DP) to develop dosimetry systems for aviation applications. These systems will be portable and use silicon sensors as the active detectors and provide real-time estimates of equivalent dose to aircrew.
