Abstract


  • This project aims to establish a new capability in thin film fabrication with catalytic/gas sorption characterisationcritically needed to support fundamental concepts at the forefront of energy research. This unique facilty willovercome the current limitations in advanced energy materials design via wet chemical methods. It will enablematerials synthesis and characterisation toward cutting-edge thermal/photo/electro-catalytic, hydrogen storage,and battery technologies. It will drive novel fundamental concepts, enable combinatorial search and new thin filmtechnology. It will bring an important new tool to Australia and enhance our international competitiveness in thedevelopment of advanced energy materials.
