Abstract

  • Measuring patient experience is regarded as an important component of assessing whether a healthcare system is delivering safe and high-quality health care.Routine collection of rehabilitation specific patient experience surveys by sub-acute facilities providing medical rehabilitation would enhance their opportunities for assessing factors critical to the provision of quality rehabilitation care. This project will review the international literature; evaluate the utility of the Client-Centred Rehabilitation Questionnaire (CCRQ) in that context; collect patient feedback on the relevance of items in the CCRQ and modify it as indicated and evaluate the usefulness of this tool in a pilot study.
