Abstract


  • Partech Systems wishes to develop and market a low cost solar powered level crossing controller (SPLCC) system for use in rail applications. The proposed system will utilise existing technologies to a large extent. However, it will also employ mesh communications technology as the system network, and magnetic anomaly sensors for train detection. Warning lights will be high visibility LED lamps, powered by PV panels and batteries.
