Grant

Scheme

  • Translating Research Into Practice (TRIP) Fellowships

Abstract

  • The new Dietary Guidelines recommend Australians select vegetables and fruit based on different colours. To be able to determine whether this is being applied nutritionists need to have access to nutrient information about these colours, also known as phytonutrients, and not available in Australia. A number of research groups have worked on creating pockets of such data in isolation around Australia. This project will bring this data together and make it publicly available online.
