Abstract


  • The main goal is to design and build operating magentic systems, which can perform the manipulation of molecules and other particles (or magnetic quantities, e.g. flux quanta) and provide their fast and reliable transport. this increasingly realistic and innovative field can revolutionise the ability to carry bits of information in so-called molecular computers. It will enable the control and influence of biochemical processes in nature (including human bodies) on the micro and nanoscale. the expected outcome of this research is the design, creation and understanding of intelligent magnetic landscapes on the basis of mobile magnetic walls, acting as manomanipulators which can be externally controlled by applying moderate magnetic fields.
