  • Multiferroic materials with simultaneous ferroelectricity and ferromagnetism offer great opportunities for applications in information storage, spin electronics, and magneto-electronics. This project aims to bring together world-leading experts with complementary skills to form a strong team to explore and study novel multiferroic materials, explore their multifunctionality for multifunctional applications, and elucidate the origins of multiferroicity. The significance and outcomes of this project are likely to introduce new physics and new devices, lead to a better understanding of the multiferroic mechanisms and to the discovery of fascinating new physical phenomena and multiferroic materials for superior magnetoelectronic applications.
