Overview


Brogan Bunt is the Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Law, Humanities and the Arts. Associate Professor Bunt has a background in media and new media production, as well as computational art. He has worked with both museums and industry, including several ARC Linkage projects.

Research Overview


  • Associate Professor Bunt’s research has been published in Media-Space Journal, Acoustic Space and Law, Text, Culture and in association with exhibitions at local and national festivals, museums and galleries.

    He is best known for his spatial exploratory documentary work, particularly, “Halfeti – Only Fish Shall Visit” (2000), which broke new ground in navigable access in digital format.

    More recently Associate Professor Bunt’s work has been in the field of socially engaged and environmental art. He has produced installation work on illegal car dumping in the Illawarra escarpment (2016) and is currently collaborating with academic staff on a project that involves walking and mapping Illawarra creek systems.
