Overview


Dr Ashley Ansari is a Lecturer in the School of Civil, Mining and Environmental Engineering. While studying her Bachelor of Engineering, Dr Ansari began her career as an Engineer at Shoalhaven Water in 2012. After receiving her B.Eng (1st class Honours), Dr Ansari completed her PhD in Environmental Engineering in 2017 at the University of Wollongong (UOW), Australia. She received the Australian Postgraduate Award and EIS Faculty Top-Up Scholarships to conduct her PhD on “Resource Recovery from Wastewater”. In 2017, she worked as a Research Associate for an ARC Linkage project with Sydney Water and in 2018 was appointed to her current role as a Lecturer and researcher in the Strategic Water Infrastructure Lab (SWIL), at UOW. Dr Ansari is a Member of the Editorial Board of the Elsevier Journal: ‘Case Studies in Chemical and Environmental Engineering (CSCEE)’. She has also been nominated for an OCTAL award (Outstanding Contribution to Teaching and Learning).
