SERVICE & LEADERSHIP SUMMARY
Within the School of Science, I serve as Academic Program Director for the Ecology & Conservation Biology major and contribute to curriculum design, HDR supervision, and strategic education initiatives. I have served as an appointed member of the University’s Animal Ethics Committee and contribute to committees related to research infrastructure, HDR strategy, and curriculum reform.
As a member of Environmental Futures, I have served on several committees, and support its strategic priorities through committee work on infrastructure, research culture, and engagement. I established the Dragon Keepers program to train undergraduate researchers in ethical animal research and supervise a growing team of research students. My broader service includes building new collaborations with conservation agencies, national park staff, and Traditional Custodian groups to ensure that our fieldwork supports both biodiversity science and community engagement.
