Dr Brendan Bentley is currently a senior lecturer in the School of Education at the University of Wollongong teaching in the field of mathematics education. Brendan has previously taught in the School of Education at the University of Adelaide and held the roles of Associate Head of Teaching and Learning, Director of Partnerships and Engagement (Professional Experience) and the Program Director for the Master of Teaching program. He has been a year level and subject coordinator in mathematics education, science education, professional experience and educational leadership. Brendan has designed and written both under-graduate and post-graduate courses ranging from STEM education to educational leadership at both national and international levels and has consulted in the areas of whole school change and professional development for teachers and school leaders. He is an experienced School Principal, curriculum leader and teacher.
