BIO

Anthony McKnight is Awabakal, Gamaroi and continues to be ‘grown up’ by his Yuin Cultural lines on the South Coast of NSW. Anthony is a Cultural man, father, husband, grandfather, uncle, son, grandson, brother, cousin, nephew and friend. For the past 30 years Anthony has continuously been involved in Aboriginal Education through a range of roles and educational institutions. Anthony has recently co-authored Research for Educators (Cengage 2023) inviting researchers to embedded Aboriginal research protocols and methodology in educational research. Currently he is a Director Early Start: Culture and Community, plus an Associate Professor within the UOW Indigenous Strategy Unit as the Curriculum Transformation Lead, embedding Country across the university’s Faculties and Schools curriculum.
