I am an AIOH Fellow, Certified Occupational Hygienist (COH) and academic specialising in exposure science, with a focus on translating complex exposure data into practical, preventative and predictive risk management strategies. My work integrates occupational hygiene, epidemiology, and elements of people science, leveraging large-scale exposure datasets to inform decision-making and improve worker health outcomes.

Working across interdisciplinary and cross-institutional teams, I contribute to research and teaching initiatives in high-risk industries including mining and emergency response services. This includes a strong focus on airborne contaminants and aerosols, as well as exposure assessment, exposure modelling, occupational exposure limits, and risk characterisation, with an emphasis on real-world application and the interpretation of complex exposure information in practice.

My work is industry-connected and impact-driven, supporting the translation of exposure data, exposure limits, and regulatory frameworks into practical workplace solutions. This includes an emerging focus on how workers interpret exposure and risk information, and how this influences decision-making and the effectiveness of control measures.

I am committed to advancing the discipline through postgraduate education, research supervision, and professional leadership, alongside contributions to certification, standards development, and national guidance, with the broader aim of informing policy and improving worker health outcomes.
