TEACHING INTERESTS

Dr Mohamedali has taught and convened undergraduate and postgraduate units across chemistry, biochemistry, molecular biology, cell biology, biomolecular sciences, leadership, entrepreneurship, innovation and work-integrated learning. His teaching responsibilities have included curriculum design, lecture and workshop delivery, practical class coordination, assessment design, marking and moderation, supervision, mentoring and the management of teaching teams.

His teaching approach is student-centred, evidence-informed and strongly focused on authentic learning. He has designed interdisciplinary science curricula that use design thinking, scenario-based learning, research-led teaching and employability-focused assessment to help students develop confidence, disciplinary knowledge, communication skills and professional capability. His educational leadership also extends beyond university teaching through long-standing community curriculum leadership and teacher development roles.
